Principal Dentist
Dr. Gyuun Jung obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in South Korea. After becoming a dental surgeon at a young age of 23, she earned her Master's Degree and subsequently a Ph.D. in Periodontology, while concurrently completing a 4 years residency training in Periodontics at Hanyang University Medical Center. Since then, she spent 7 years as a professor performing academic research and clinical teaching in the Department of Periodontology, at the Hanyang University, Ewha Womans University, and Korea University Hospitals. She has published approximately 20 original peer-reviewed research related to implant surgery, soft tissue management, alveolar ridge augmentation, bone grafts, and bone morphogenetic protein in world-class leading dental journals such as the Clinical Oral Implants Research. After moving to Canada, she continues to teach other dentists in numerous continuing education courses and seminars, while providing the newest and latest treatments to her patients.
